Synthetic media technology delivers cost saving benefits with: • Extended Service Life • Greater engine protection to prolong engine and equipment life • Improved lubricant flow • Improved cold start performance • Reduced operating costs Click here to view cross reference guide Donaldson Endurance™ oil filters are made with premium advanced synthetic media technology that results in fibers that have a controlled size, shape and smaller fiber diameter. The controlled media manufacturing process allows Donaldson Endurance™ oil filters to deliver both higher dirt holding capacity at the same pressure differential and higher efficiency compared to conventional cellulose filters. The synthetic media also has better durability with usage. Throughout the service life of a cellulose filter, hot oil will degrade the resins that bind the media. The synthetic media technology uses a wire screen backing pleated with the media, resulting in superior strength. Donaldson Endurance™ oil filters offer extended service intervals, greater engine protection to prolong engine and equipment life, improved lubricant flow, improved cold start performance and lower operating costs.
Donaldson Endurance Filters are designed to withstand severe operating conditions while providing excellent engine protection. First, Endurance filters are constructed of a heavy-duty base plate and housing to protect the lubrication system from outside contaminants. Also, Endurance filters are constructed with high-grade rubber sealing materials that stay flexible and sealed during exposure to hot oils with advanced additive packages.
The housing is attached to the base plate with a fully tucked seam and the base plate threads are roll formed. Both construction methods result in a filter that is much more durable in heavy duty/off road applications. The white synthetic media utilizes a wire screen backing that is pleated with the media for superior strength to provide efficient filtering for prolonged periods of time. EnduranceTM lube filters, when used in conjunction with AMSOIL Synthetic motor oil, are guaranteed up to twice the manufacturers recommended service interval, to a maximum of 60,000 miles for heavy-duty on-highway diesel applications. Donaldson Endurance™ oil filters last longer and offer better protection than conventional cellulose media filters. They are guaranteed for extended service intervals in heavy-duty, on-highway diesels under the following conditions: Use AMSOIL Synthetic motor oil General preventative maintenance practices are performed in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations The engine must be in good operating condition prior to attempting extended drain intervals.
