AMSOIL announces the launch of a new Ea air filter specifically designed for newer diesel engines. To get that product to market in a complete assembled kit, AMSOIL has partnered with Injen Technology. The product will be marketed as the Injen/AMSOIL Power-Flow Diesel Air Intake System distributed by both AMSOIL Dealers and traditional Injen channels.
The new series of intakes features the innovative patent pending Variable Induction Technology, Diesel Power-Box and the dry media Ea nanofiber technology air filter from AMSOIL.

GMC Duramax 6.5 uses the AMSOIL EAO-52 Oil Filter or the BMK-17 By-Pass Filtration Kit.

NANOFIBER Air Filter

The Duramax depending on year uses the AMSOIL EaA (Absolute Efficiency Air Filter) EAA 111; 112; 123; and 121. Call to match and for price. (4-year or 100,000 mile air filter 98.7 % Efficient at 15 microns! )

1994 to 1999 - Engine uses 7.1 quarts with filter. In 2000+ use 10 quarts.

Now, AMSOIL AME 15W40 is rated for the Chevrolet Duramax Turbodiesel for drain intervals 25,000 miles or one year. The new Absolute Efficiency EAO-52 oil filter is also rated for 25,000 miles or one year so it's simple.
For severe service (heavy constant towing, truck used for short drives or trucks with over 100,000 miles) use a 1-year or 15,000 mile drain interval.

This means your use of AMSOIL HDD in your GMC Duramax can be used up to 25,000 miles or one year if no analysis is used. Knowing that GM designs these intervals to be conservative (using conventional SAE 40 motor oils), the use of an oil analysis will generally prove that the AMSOIL HDD (or AME) is still within the proper specs regarding to alkalinity, wear metals, soot, NOx% (nitration and oxidation), water, fuel, etc.. The whole point of AMSOIL is to reduce costs and increase the life of your engine and drive train. The ANALYSIS company makes the recommendation to help you dial in on this.

By-Pass Remote Filtration Units - Eliminate virtually all engine wear

Use our By-Pass filtration kits and extend changes even further while virtually eliminating all engine wear. (Filters less than 1 micron particle size and will hold up to a quart of water).. If you don't use AMSOIL use the By-pass kit at least. It filters 5 quarts in 5 minutes at 45 miles per hour. When using AMSOIL HDD Diesel your engine will run smother, quieter and many even notice a decrease in engine drag. Our gear and differential lubes will add to the economy. For your Duramax order the BMK-17 mounting system. Includes the EAO-26 full flow filter and the BE-100 By-Pass unit. I also suggest at least one Oil Analysis kit G1451 so you can take a sample of the existing oil before you drain to have something for reference. You will then see how our lubricants can be used many times longer in these units.

If you want to use the BMK-11 for a more compact mounting call about our new sandwich adapter which makes installation easy and you keep your full flow filter in the original location. Oil is fed from a simple adapter, then returns to either the pan or an optional oil fill cap adapter.

Nanofiber is a phrase generally referring to a fiber with a diameter less than one micron. Cellulose fibers, on the other hand, are larger than nanofibers and have larger spaces between the fibers, causing contaminants to load in the depth of the media and plug the airflow path, resulting in higher restriction and less capacity.

AMSOIL Ea Air filters incorporate a specially constructed cellulose media with exclusive synthetic nanofibers applied to the surface. Dust and submicron particles are trapped on the nanofiber surface, preventing them from lodging in the filter media depth.
