Commercial Applications:

Service Equipment Downtime
For both Golf Courses and landscape maintenance services, equipment downtime is a serious issue. No small or large business can afford to have their equipment sitting on the repair bench waiting on service. Downtime is catastrophic for several reasons. When a key mower is out of use others may have to work longer, missing proper service intervals which is a key reason to use AMSOIL Synthetic Lubricants. Should you ever have to miss an oil drain, AMSOIL provides the extra margin of protection and the peace of mind that your equipment is being protected.

Fuel Consumption
Without exception, after labor, fuel cost is the largest expense for most landscape operations. Equipment performance, Power and Durability

AMSOIL Durability is the Obvious Choice
The Kubota 60 hp turbocharged liquid cooled, 4-cylinder diesel engine provides an abundance of power to handle the most demanding mowing conditions. The models 4500-D and 4700-D are the most powerful mowers in their class, with 117 ft-lbs of torque at 58 hp net and normal engine speeds of 2600 rpm. These engines are designed to work hard - and that is exactly the service they will be placed in! They need the superior wear protection afforded when quality AMSOIL lubricants are on the job!

Engine Oils
These examples illustrate why AMSOIL is the obvious choice for your severe service equipment. For example, AMSOIL Series 3000 Synthetic 5W30 Heavy Duty Diesel Oil resists breakdown from heat, blow-by chemicals and oxygen up to ten times longer than do conventional oils. This oil resists forming sludge and varnish deposits, which contribute to corrosion, decreased fuel efficiency and increased engine wear.
AMSOIL Series 3000 Synthetic 5W-30 Heavy-Duty Diesel Oil doesn't thicken like conventional oils - but maintains its viscosity, providing peak engine performance and extended drain intervals. This product usually lasts 4-times longer and increases fuel mileage by 8.2%. AMSOIL Series HDD 5W30 oil's superior heat transfer properties and exceptional lubricity reduces engine-operating temperatures and engine wear. And golf course and landscape equipment generally operates under very high temperatures.

The AMSOIL ASE is the best choice for all your commercial 4-Stroke equipment. ASE 10W30/SAE30 Provides serious protection for all your small engines. You can use the ACD above in all higher horsepower units and reserve the ASE for 80 and lower HP units. These operate at higher temperatures and AMSOIL has responded with the excellent new product!

Our other best suggestion for heavy equipment and personal vehicles is the AMSOIL SAE 30 Heavy Duty Diesel Oil (ACD). This oil also qualifies as an 10W-30 and provides outstanding protection in both modern and older diesel and gasoline engines. While advertised to work best for heavy equipment and personal vehicles, it's an excellent cost effective choice for all your landscape and golf course applications. It's our #1 recommendation when a customer wants one oil for all applications.

We do offer more specific products for fairway and rough mowers, tractors, utility carts/vehicles, tee/green mowers, lawnmowers, sweepers, sod cutters, side-cut mowers, weed eaters, chainsaws, blowers, tree/limb chippers, stubble choppers, trench cutters and more. But with very few exceptions, you don't need to have more than one motor oil provided you use AMSOIL!!

Hydraulic Oils
AMSOIL Synthetic Hydraulic Oils are so well formulated that equipment can be operated all day, under the most grueling conditions, and not experience that mid-day fade or chatter as is common with other hydraulic oils. AMSOIL Hydraulic Oils will perform in service and will not be the cause of pump cavitation and the heat is controlled.

Toro recommends the use of Mobil EAL 224H hydraulic oil for many mowers but on their website, Mobil calls it a premium performance environmentally aware hydraulic fluid designed to provide outstanding performance in hydraulic and circulation systems operating at moderate conditions.
Golf course and landscaping equipment does not operate in moderate conditions. they always operate under heavy loads, high RPM's and torques, and wet-muddy conditions. Furthermore, the Mobil EAL 224H product is formulated with vegetable oil which is generally poor when it comes to oxidation resistance. If left in an application long, the smell can actually make someone sick if exposed.

AMSOIL Hydraulic Oils not only provide the medium for hydraulic power, it is also responsible for lubricating hydraulic components and protecting them from wear, rust and contaminates. Using premium synthetic base oils and additive systems that inhibit oxidation, rust and foam, they also contain a very effective zinc-based antiwear/antioxidant additive that prevents wear in high speed, high pressure vane and gear pumps while meeting the lubrication requirements of axial piston pumps with bronze-on-steel metallurgy.
Failures generally occur from moisture drawn in during operation. AMSOIL AW series hydraulic oils will inhibit rust formations and also separate from water preventing oil/water emulsions that inhibit the oil's ability to lubricate and allowing for longer lubricant life and easy water drainage from the sump.
Hydraulic systems are notorious for leakage. AMSOIL Synthetic Hydraulic Oils contain advanced seal conditioners that control seal shrinkage and swelling, helping keep leaks under control.

AMSOIL 2-Cycle Oils

Hot-running, two-cycle applications need a lubricant capable of keeping heat and wear to an absolute minimum. AMSOIL Synthetic 2-Cycle Oils provide maximum protection and outstanding performance in two-cycle applications. Those using OEM oils and products typically known as industry standards, are used to replacing equipment and frequent repairs to the point where it has become fixed in their head as "Normal Wear". Well, not true when using the superior product of AMSOIL.
The exhaust side of the piston is now lubricated so well using our ATP 100:1 the reduction of temperature can be measured and the wear decreases significantly.
