Fisherman Saves Time and Money

Commercial fisherman Paul Daniels switched his Detroit Diesel 525 hp 12V-71T boat main engine over to AMSOIL Synthetic 15W-40 Heavy Duty Diesel and Marine Oil and an AMSOIL Dual Gard By-Pass Oil Filter to increase engine life and decrease maintenance.
Daniels had been changing his conventional oil at 250 to 300 hour intervals. With AMSOIL products on board, he conservatively increased his change intervals until he reached his present 2000 hour oil changes with sampling and filter changes at 500 hours.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
AMSOIL Universal Synthetic Marine Gear Lube is an exclusive AMSOIL formulation of synthetic base oils and high performance additives that address the specific concerns of marine applications. It is extreme pressure (EP) additive fortified for superior protection of fast accelerating, high torque/horsepower engines. It protects against shock loading from cavitation of heavily loaded engines.

AMSOIL Universal Synthetic Marine Gear Lube is water resistant. It maintains extreme pressure protection even when contaminated with as much as 10% water. It promotes longer seal life, preventing excessive water leakage. AMSOIL Universal Synthetic Marine Gear Lube protects against rust and is compatible with aluminum, copper and brass alloys. Not only does this product reduce corrosion problems, it significantly decreases operating temperatures.

APPLICATIONS
AMSOIL Universal Synthetic Marine Gear Lube is recommended for fresh and salt water applications requiring either 75W-90 or 80W-90 viscosity grade and meeting either API GL-4 or GL-5 performance standards.

AMSOIL INTERCEPTOR Synthetic 2-Cycle Oil is recommended as an injector oil or at a 50:1 mix ratio in carbureted, electronic fuel Injected (EFI) and direct fuel injected (DFI) snowmobiles, personal watercraft, motorcycles, ATVs and jet boats, including, but not limited to, those manufactured by Bombardier®, Sea Doo, Ski Doo, Yamaha®, Arctic Cat®, Polaris®, Kawasaki®, Suzuki® and Honda®.

It is recommended wherever API TC and JASO FC two-cycle oils are specified. INTERCEPTOR is compatible with and recommended as a replacement for all mineral and synthetic manufacturer branded two-cycle oils. For top performance, mixing is not recommended. Best choice for Sea Doo, Ski Doo, Wave runner, and Rotax engines.
